You'll take a journey through the winter wonderlands and traditional Christmases of bygone days to the present. You'll experience the music, memories, popular culture and true spirit of the season. Cantate Chicago presents An American Psalmbook, featuring Bernstein's Chichester Psalms - Conductor

Cantate Chicago presents a FREE concert of Psalms set by American composers of Jewish and Christian backgrounds. Highlights include a recent work by Jake Runestad, beloved works by Copland and Thompson, and lesser known works by Pinkham and Rochberg. Many of the Psalms will be a cappella, but some will be accompanied by organ, harp, and/or percussion. For the grand finale, Cantate is joined by organist David White and harpist Michael Maganuco for Bernstein's Chichester Psalms.
